SC218: Hanna Hello

I made this card earlier today and then got caught up in my design work -- never got it uploaded until now! What a long day! Low and behold - I must have been channeling Kristina Werner because here I am checking out her blog and my colors are all matchy-matchy to this week's color inspiration! Check it out {here}

This was a fun one - a sketch from SCS!

I used plenty of pink and brown, dontcha think?

baubles in the center of the primas (they are almost pearl white colored). Swiss dots on the card base (pretty in pink) - then some SU! designer paper with a base of close to cocoa underneath. Paper piecing on Hanna *her skirt is designer paper*, *her vest is pretty in pink* and *her shirt is whisper white*. All three pieces stamped separately and trimmed, placed atop the stamped Hanna body. Hanna is colored with copics. Shoes added on after - they were stamped directly to the Hanna and colored with copics. Sentiment from Things Hanna Would Say in chocolate chip ink on pretty in pink cardstock.
What do you think? Like the sketch!!??

Stamps: Hanna {dress up Hanna, things Hanna would say}
paper: pretty in pink, white, designer paper, close to cocoa
ink: black, chocolate chip, copics
misc: swiss dots, baubles (pearl), flowers (prima), dimensionals, punches (oval)

Nice use of dsp. This Hannah looks super grown up. What happened to the little girl?

It's a good life!

Hi Beth

I have been looking at your blog for some time now (confess to being a lurker) and have to say I love your work. This card is no exception, it is just gorgeous. I love the way you paper-pieced the skirt...it looks so real.
Thanks for sharing.
