My friend, Wendy Page, approached me about creating a card for an article she was writing for the Life@home magazine. I created a thank you note in fall colors and snapped a photo of it and sent it off to the Editor of the magazine. My husbands business partner emailed me this evening to tell me that she was at Starbucks reading a magazine and saw a card which she thought looked like something I would make. Sure enough, there was my name on the top of the article. :)
I quickly got the kids in bed and rushed over to the local starbucks. There were no copies left in the magazine holder, but there was a stray copy in the newspaper bin. I grabbed the copy and headed home to read the article and bask in my glory! {grin}
