PTI Anniversary Color Challenge
She is at it again - giving away amazing prizes. I cannot resist - it is futile for me to attempt!
I used Nichole's color challenge (poppy, sunrise, avocado and ocean tides) to create this card for her challenge.
Poppy base, some fun designer paper which I picked up at CHA, ocean tides is the base of the main image with an avocado scalloped piece tucked underneath the main image. I stamped the main image on papertrey select white, then stamped the image two more times. I trimmed out the flower and put it on with a dimensional. I also trimmed out the flower center and placed that on the flower with dimensionals. I used some daubers to deepen the colors of the petal. Papertrey stitched ribbon in pure poppy, tied in a simple knot. Hello sentiment is from the Flower garden set, stamped in the ocean tide ink.
Here is a close up of the main image. I added some crystal effects and some glitter to the center of the flower. I really love the feel of the papertrey cardstock - so thick! The select white paper really grabs the ink! It's wonderful!
The other day I made a cd holder for a friend! I used avocado, summer sunrise, and poppy. I took a quick snapshot of it before I sent it in the mail! If only I had used some ocean tides in it - I would have qualified this for the challenge too!
The funny thing is - it is going off to the person who designed the Flower Garden stamp set - I hope she likes it!
