Inspirational page....

I made this 6x6 page for an inspirations book for a friend. Several of us are putting together a few pages to let our friend know how much we care.
I created my own designer paper with the Garden of Life set by Alli Miles. I love this set and it was easy to take some perfect match inks and create a beautiful background. I started with a 5x5 piece of white cardstock and some ink: lemon tart & summer sun for the daisies and sweet blush and berry sorbet for the mums. I used avocado and moss for the leaves. I spritzed the background white space with some cherub pink glimmer mist. I found some 6x6 designer paper in a pad on my desk - it is the SU! paper pad from last season. It's gotta go people! Out with the old!

After heat setting the glimmer mist to speed up the drying process, I adhered it to the designer paper. I then stamped the sentiment on some Mayarts white twill. I used the berry sorbet ink and the sentiment from the Garden of Life set. It was so easy to stamp it with the ink. I adhered the twill with a little mono adhesive to secure it in place. Then I sewed around the whole project with a zig zag stitch. I used some saffron brads on each side of the sentiment - for show! That's it....
