FS105: KDUNBROOK

This week's featured stamper is K dunbrook (aka Karen). I love the name Karen - named my first born Karen! I have a sister named Karen...I digress...
back to this week's FS!

Here is the {card} which I cased. I kept the color scheme - I loved the black buttons on the stamped flowers. I loved the designer paper too!

I changed the stamp set - used some different designer paper - used Nichole's sketch challenge (download sketch here), moved the buttons for the sketch - added some ribbon to the center of the buttons - used felt flowers and created my own designer paper for the center strip using Candace's set! LOVE IT!

Started with a white base and then a black layer. I used the papertrey black & white basics patterned paper atop the black layer. I then created the middle strip using the papertrey select white cardstock and the true black ink. I used two of the images from Simply Stationary (Papertrey Ink) to create the fun repetitive pattern. I layered my strip of home made pattern paper atop a layer of black. The sentiment is from With Sympathy (Papertrey Ink). I found the velvet flowers in my stash and stamped them with the true black ink and the Polka Dot Basics (Papertrey Ink). SU! black buttons and some really THIN offray polkadot ribbon (Gotta use up the ribbon from my stash - to make room for the new POLKADOT RIBBON FROM BFF!). This is a soothing card - I love how it turned out. Thanks for the inspiration Karen!

ink: true black
paper: black, white, black & white basics

Great card. I can't wait to see what you come up with for PTI.

You have two children named after hubby and I. My husband is Xavier but it is a french pronunciation. "Zaw-vee-ay" - did I do that right?!! LOL!
