Ski Bunny!

Okay - it's October, but today there was a CHILL in the air! BRRRR! It made me realize what is around the corner, which is white and brrrrrr...... but you know what is right around the corner..... MY BIRTHDAY! WOOOHOOO! I actually share a birthday with my daughter Victoria. She was born when I was 31. I have decided that I like that number. 31....and I will stay 31 until someone tells me otherwise. (RAISES EYEBROWS)....ANYONE WANT TO TELL ME OTHERWISE???? HUH? {grin}

I won't divulge my age next Tuesday, but let's just say that Victoria is turning 9 and I am turning 31 again!

I digress....the snow is around the corner...after my 31st birthday. So I decided to use the Hanna Ski Bunny set to create this card. Look at the cute little mittens....the sentiment is Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow.... (I know ....bite your tongue). The wreath (at least I think it looks like a wreath), was made with river rock, wild wasabi, artichoke, and hunter inks. I started with the river rock and used the snowflakes from the stamp set. I went around in a circle, creating a wreath circle. I then used wasabi, artichoke and hunter until I thought it looked like a wreath. The white base was dry pressure embossed with the cuttlebug snowflake set....and I used some inexpensive brads from Target to finish the wreath. Coordinating green brad on the edge of the sentiment. The mittens were colored with copics....
