FS74: Teneale

Love! Love will Keep us Together. Think of me babe whenever.....
Do you know that artist? Captain and Tennille....One of my Favorites. Did you have the album? The one with the bulldogs on the front?

When I saw Teneale Williams gallery, I fell in love! (and quite frankly, it makes my heart sing with joy).

I loved Teneale's card HERE. I adored the soft vellum, the monochromatic feel. I decided to go for it, but make a few changes:
  • The card base is coral (Teneale used sahara sand)
  • I used glitter embossing powder to give the flourishes a bit of bling
  • I used white craft and versamark to give it a shadow effect.
  • stamp sets changed to Kitchen Sink Stamps (Hydrangea (butterflies) and Swirly Hearts & Stars (flourishes), 3 step graduation (sentiment)
  • I used double ribbon (white satin wide and sheer polkadot white)
  • I used a layer of ruby red underneath the vellum to give the card a hint of warmth
  • I used pearls on each side of the sentiment
This was a simple card to make - stamp the flourish on the vellum and the coral layer, first with versamark (emboss with glitter embossing powder), then stamp with craft white and heat set. Stamp butterfly images on vellum with white craft and heat emboss with glitter embossing powder. Trim out butterflies with paper snips and adhere to main image. Main image is mounted on dimensionals. Stamp sentiment on card and add pearls. Add ribbon to card.

Beautiful and elegant, just like Tenaele's cards!
