There's A New Sheriff In Town!

I love this new Riley stamp from Hanna Stamps! Is he not the cutest? Xavier went through a cowboy phase and I loved when he was so into horses and cowboy hats. He had one of those ride on stick horses and he would gallop around the house with it between his legs. Today he was using it as a sword (what is it with boys and weapons?) and I asked him not to use it as a sword and he looked at me all innocent and cute, "Oh no Mommy, I am using it as a gun!" {gasp!} Well, this Riley isn't one to let the bad guys get away with anything! Stamped in archival black ink from Ranger and colored with copics, he is a fun little dude! See the cute arrow through his ten-gallon hat? I used the retired Cowboy Kid from Stampin' Up! to create the backgrounds (using the star and the paisley). I was so upset this set never made a catalog - but it is one I am holding onto! The sentiment is also from the set. What other fun sentiment can you come up with?

I popped up the main image with dimensionals. I also added the cute little tab with the star on it. I used a star punched piece of cardstock and a brad (colored with copics) to complete the design. White gel pen randomly on the real red strip too!
This was for several challenges over at the Hanna Stamps! PJ party
challenge 1. use the color of your bedroom {blue - check!}
challenge 2. use stars on your card {tag, stamped background, punch - check!}
challenge 3. use at least two punches on your card {three - two circle and a star - check!}

WOWZA! I hit the trifecta!!!
I was thinking of sending this to my friend Mish who was just selected to be on Papertrey Inks design team! Congrats Mish! Nichole Heady (my BFF) is a great judge of character and style! Mish is the new Sheriff in town!!!!

Giddy up!!!!

Oh my goodness, Beth, this is SO cute! :D

So sorry to hear about your name change and the deets that caused it (read below). I never would have never thought to buy the domain name either. What a bunch of crap that she would do that to you.

So sorry to hear that you have been going "through it". I will be sure to send all of my friends to you for their blog banner needs! Trust me, that womans work ethic will show through to any poor folks who happen across her and use her for any work they need done. I will be a forever faithful Freckled and Fun reader. Good luck to you! By the way, I love the family pics and updates. What an awesome little six pack you have!

How sad that someone would do that to you. You are handling this better than I would! A big hug to you!

I love your little Sheriff.
