How did I find Diane? I cannot recall, but I saw one of her cards and my jaw dropped. "Where have you been?" I thought to myself. "Why have I not seen you before?" Well, probably because she was lost in the 60s. It's a big place the sixties....Heh! Heh!
My office is a disaster. I could get lost in there. Just ask Debbie. I tried to blame it on her, but Todd wouldn't believe me. Debbie was over tonight and we both chose (well, I forced her to choose Diane's green card here. It's not like I was twisting Debbie's arm. I did make her choose a color (she chose red). Course I took blue! HA! (I WIN!) Just kidding. So later on Sunday, check out Debbie's blog or gallery for her card! Debbie - put the link in my comments.
I took the card and decided to go a different route. Remember the messy office. I kept walking on the one little piece of rub on which was on my floor. It was a scrap left over from a frenzy of crafting. It kept sticking to my foot this evening, so I knew it was destiny to end up on this card. I used Wanted by Stampin' Up! to create the card. Bashful ink on bashful paper, with a little white craft ink thrown in (BAM - like Emeril). BAM! White ink! I had the strip of cuttle bugged paper (thanks Debbie) which Debbie and I split. It is my favorite Swiss Dots folder. Love that folder! I stamped right on the dots with bashful blue ink. Then I stamped the paisley on some scrap, trimmed it out and placed in on the card with dimensionals. I decided to eliminate the hodge podge hardware from the card and use baubles. Change it up baby! BAM! Baubles! How about that big ribbon? What do you think? I *LIKE* it! I like Big Ribbon. It's all Kristina Wernerish! Don't you think? Big ribbon, small sentiment!
So that is my card! I should call it BAM! Done! LOL!
Thanks for the inspiration Diane!
