This is the new release for Hanna called Patio (mini set) and Lazy Days. Todd and I are doing a great summer project.....a patio. And being the smart people we are, we know our limitations, so we hired a friend from High School who does this for a living to help us out. He is putting up a patio and grill area. It should be "slick" (those were his words). Our patio should be complete by the 4th of July! It has been an amazing transformation from a wood step to a nice stone patio. I used these sets to make him a card, because quite frankly, HE ROCKS! The stone background (lazy days) is done with the Chalk Pouncing technique (see here). I smeared the white background with orange chalk, then pounced with a deeper orange. The main image is from Patio. It is a cute potted plant. I stamped it once on the 2x2 square, then two more times on a piece of scrap white. I colored with copics and trimmed the leaves and layered them with dimensionals. I stamped the vase on designer paper and trimmed that and placed the pot right on the 2x2 without dimensionals. I colored the edge of the pot with a sakura orange stardust pen. You Rock sentiment from Things Hanna Would Say. The scalloped square was punched with a marvy punch and the ribbon is May Arts (Starlitstudio).
