FS144 Christians.ink

Christine m. is this week's featured stamper!! I created two cards! They were both clean and simple cards, so it was easy to case them! The first one was based on this card:

{CAS38 Card}

I changed the stamp set and mat color. I also added some images next to the sentiment and removed the brad.

White base, chocolate chip mat -- both were edged with the side of the curly label punch. The main image from OCL "Giving Thanks" stamp set was colored with copics. The sentiment was stamped in Ranger Walnut and the side images (acorns) were colored with copics.

Super easy card!

The second card is based on Christine's {CAS32 Card}. I changed the colors and used a stamped image for the main image, not a real flower and brad.

I stamped the flower image from Thankful Flourishes in black on white cardstock and then colored it with copics. I stamped the image a second time and layered it atop one another with dimensionals. I stamped the leaves in new leaf (PTI) ink and trimmed them out and adhered them under the flower. Stickles are in the center of the flower to make it shimmer. A piece of rick rack under the black mat and the sentiment on the bottom in black ink complete the design.

I really enjoyed Christine's clean gallery! You should check it out! {Chrisations.ink}

I rarely think to mat something on black like that (like, maybe never...). It really makes that flower "pop" and look great! Thanks for the inspiration.
