I enjoy a challenge! Kristina's color challenges intrigue me and I knew that I wanted to play with some new Kitchen Sink Stamps. I used the new Pretty Tear Drops, Vintage Words and 3 step Butterflies sets to create this card.
At first, I was wondering how they would come together, but as usual, Kristina's colors were wonderful together! I started with a square white base (5x5). I stamped the dots (pretty tear drops) with rose red ink on the strip of rose red cardstock and I stamped some butterflies in pumpkin ink on the pumpkin cardstock. I took scraps of rose red cardstock and stamped the tear drops with the versafine ink. I did the same with the circle on the green galore scrap. Each tear drop was trimmed and placed on a center dimensional, then the petals were slightly bent. The center of the flower was also trimed and raised up on a dimensional. Thankful sentiment stamped in black ink. Do you not ADORE that ribbon. I got it from Cindy (starlitstudio). It's Mayarts and it is descrumptious! Finally, a little bling in the form of sakura stardust. It's hard to see in the photo, but the center (green) and the petals (dotted lines) are all sakurafied! What do you think?
