Introducing: Willow, day one

Willow is the latest stamp set which I designed. The set will be available on 11/15 at Papertrey Ink.

Today, I started out with some earthy colors. I used a terra cotta A2 base and used a variety of copic markers for the sunset on a die cut piece of white glossy cardstock. I stamped the image in black ink. Remember that on glossy paper, use your copics first, then stamp with black ink so you don't smear!

I added a strip of summer sun cardstock for the sentiment, a few terra cotta buttons too!

Here is another card with some earthy colors. This is a pumpkin A2 base, a strip of avocado and some chocolate buttons. I used the rock and roll technique with the willow leaves. I started with spring moss ink and rolled the edges in avocado ink.

The sentiment and the tree trunk are stamped in chocolate ink.

all supplies are Papertrey ink unless otherwise noted:

Nice willow tree. Pretty cards. The tree reminds me of primitiv and/or colonial period art. Wonder what other stamps are in this set? Looking forward to finding out. :)
