Here is a fun, simple card! I used Lemon Tart cardstock (when my Genevieve sees it she shouts "YELLOW!!!" ....it's her favorite color!). I am not a yellow girl....I prefer blues....so we compromised and went with a little of both! I stamped the flower from Springtime Doodles in fresh snow (white) ink and sprinkled the ink with glitter while it was still wet. Sentiment stamped in ocean tides ink. I used a PTI button with some rustic thread and used the edge of the fillable frames #3 to create a unique cut on the side of the sentiment.

Isn't it a simple, yet elegant look? Here is a close up on the sentiment and button.

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous!! How did you get the glitter to stick to only the ink? No heat and stick powder or glue pad?
ReplyDeleteI like your sparkly cute and simple card! The new sentiments are great! :)

Love this set--I SO need a new b-day sentiment set!
ReplyDeleteHow creative to use just a part of a die for a unique finish to the sentiment banner! Love your card, & I'm not a yellow person either!
